For one thing there are always limited quantities of the Xbox 360 which is not only problematic but frustrating as well. Even now years after it was first released, the system is still on backorder at most video game stores. You may have to wait several months just to get an answer on pre-order lists so hopefully you don’t’ mind waiting. The low-end system retails at just under $300 and then you still need games and accessories to have the best gaming experience.

The retail price is $300 and that is only for the low-end system. A lot of gamers also have problems with the fact that there does not seem to be much difference between the newer games to be released and the older versions. The only really noticeable differences are in the graphics which seem to be brighter because they are in high definition. The idea behind a video game causing a revolution would mean that it had something better to offer than all the other video game consoles of the generation and that is not true with the Xbox.

There is truly nothing about the Xbox 360 that plays fundamentally different from any other current generation projects. A lot of people complain that there are not enough new games being released either and that this is a huge factor showing that this game is no revolution. On average there is the same amount of games from other systems being released on an annual basis. While all of these different problems and issues may make a difference for some, to others who are avid fans of the Xbox 360 it will not really matter.

The point is that if there is someone who is trying to decide which video game console to get they should base their decision on the real details. The idea that the Xbox 360 is some amazing gaming revolution is actually the reason that a lot of people go out and buy it. For anyone who is just now trying to decide on a video game system to buy, make sure that you take time and consider all details before buying. This way you can choose a system that you are actually going to enjoy playing.
